About Ashley

A heart-warrior journey became a calling to share.

My yoga practice began as part of my own heart-warrior journey while I was living with congestive heart failure. Alongside modern medical care, yoga became an important part of how I supported my physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Today, I am proud to say that I am no longer living with congestive heart failure.

As my practice deepened, I felt called to share these tools in places where they could be especially meaningful. I have had the privilege of teaching yoga in studios, gyms, correctional settings, a mental-health hospital, substance-use recovery programs, assisted-living communities, and nursing homes.

I believe in community and in the power of moving forward together. Mountains feel more obtainable when we have others beside us on the journey.

The practices I share are rooted in ancient traditions preserved and passed down through generations of teachers. I hold deep gratitude for my teachers and those who came before them. My responsibility is to honor these teachings by sharing them thoughtfully and making them accessible to people with different bodies, experiences, needs, and ways of moving through the world.
